Accounting SpecialistCompetitive salary plus benefitsBelgium | Brussels | HybridTalent Precision Group is partnering with a global financial services firm to recruit an Accounting Specialist for its growing finance team.The business operates internationally in a fast paced, technology driven environment, supporting high volume activity. This role sits within the Finance function and reports to the Accounting Manager, with responsibility for the day to day accounting of the Belgian entity and support across group level reporting and consolidation.The position offers hands on ownership, exposure to crypto related accounting, and the opportunity to work within a modern finance team undergoing system and process transformation.ResponsibilitiesOwn full cycle bookkeeping for the Belgian entity under Belgian GAAPPerform monthly bank and crypto wallet reconciliations across multi currency fiat accounts and on ramp and off ramp transactionsPrepare and file monthly VAT returns and support basic corporate tax processesPerform quarterly intercompany reconciliationsPost and reconcile trading revenues, fees, rebates, and staking rewardsSupport month end close activities, group consolidation, and flux analysisAssist with statutory accounts preparation and annual audit processesAct as the primary point of contact with the Belgian social secretariat and external accounting partnersSupport finance process automation and the migration of accounting workflows to NetSuiteContribute to ad hoc accounting analysis and finance projectsQualifications1 to 5 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience under Belgian GAAPBachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent qualificationHands on experience with Odoo or transferable experience with similar ERP systemsStrong knowledge of Belgian VAT and core accounting principlesFluent in French and or Dutch with professional level EnglishHighly detail oriented, structured, and comfortable working with large transaction volumesEligible to work in Belgium (EU citizenship or valid work permit)Nice to HaveExperience with crypto wallets and crypto accounting tools such as CryptioExposure to IFRS and or MiCA related reportingInterest in automation, process improvement, or basic scripting such as Python or Excel VBAPrevious experience in a scale up, fintech, trading, or digital asset environmentTalent Precision Group is dedicated to fostering a culture of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
