Your function
- You will be part of the Investor Relations team at the Corporate Center in Brussels. Its role is to ensure a smooth relationship with financial analysts, current and potential institutional and retail shareholders in Belgium and across the world. The IR team is the linking pin between the company and the financial markets. It provides feedback from the investment community to senior management on strategic topics and spreads the equity story towards the analysts and investors to help them better understand the dynamics of our company.
- Performing this role in an optimal manner implies that the members of the team
- Gain an in-depth knowledge of Ageas, its strategy and its financials (P&L, balance sheet, Solvency)
- Follow the latest developments of Ageas’ competitors and the financial markets as a whole
- Prepare or be actively involved in the preparation of any publication that interests the investment community regarding different types of content such as earnings, strategy, M&A and legal topics
- Initiate and potentially (co-)host roadshows and conferences oriented to institutional and retail investors in various countries/cities worldwide
- Organize touch points with the investment community on various topics during deep dives and investor days

**Profile**:

- You have a master’s degree and are keen to learn and to work with financial data
- You have 3-5 years working experience, preferably in the insurance (research) sector
- You are interested to learn about Ageas, its products, strategy and results
- You are passionate about financial markets and its participants
- You have excellent verbal and written communications skills and easily manage relationships both with customers (internal and external) and information suppliers
- You like to work towards joint deliverables in a dynamic team that needs to be flexible in response to short term urgencies
- You can be trusted to work with confidential (price) sensitive information
- You have a good knowledge of Word, PPT and Excel and you are keen to work with software tools as Bloomberg and Nasdaq, knowledge of BI tool would be a plus
- You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French would be a plus
