CTG IT Solutions is an IT Services Company dedicated to European Institutions. We are currently hiring an System Administrator (Streaming), to join a prestigious European Institution in Brussels.
Your Missions
You provide advice and assistance in the area of administration of Audio-Visual IT infrastructures, systems, and services, such as audio and video encoders, streamers, display announcement systems, conference control systems, and audio-visual devices.
You do the technology watch, evaluation studies, architectural considerations, applicable standards, solution patterns, and best practices in the specific area of Audio-Visual ICT interoperability
You give expert advice on the architectural design of a networking topology for the transport of audio-visual content over IP networks, e.g. WOWZA, Dante, multi-casting, CDN,...
You provide quality plans, quality assessments, quality control tests, evaluations, and service level agreements associated with ICT and audio-visual systems
You advise the Audio-Visual IT areas such as capacity management, contingency planning, service continuity management, automation of repetitive tasks, security
You participate in defining and documenting the configuration of systems & infrastructure, documenting operational procedures and architectural design/review
You evaluate and implementation of security standards
You manage the security administration and monitoring, in adherence to the security rules imposed by the Commission's central security service
You take part in coordination and project meetings
**Profile**:
You have at least a Master's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience (1 year of missing study can be compensated with 2 years of experience).
You are able to speak and write fluently in English and French
You have the capability of working in a multi-lingual/multi-cultural environment;
You hold expert knowledge of ICT systems, specifically Linux (RedHat), network, and audio-visual (IT-based) infrastructure management.
You have the capability to acquire or extend expert knowledge on the SCIC Streaming solution.

You have good knowledge of audio-visual software and protocols in one or more/similar products: Wowza, Dante,...
You hold good knowledge of storage and virtualization solutions: NAS storage, Netapp, VmWare,...
**You have knowledge of databases**: MySQL, MongoDB,...
**You have knowledge of programming/scripting languages**: Python,Bash, Ansible...
**You have knowledge of web-based solutions**: Tomcat, NGINX, NodeJS...
You are familiar with Audio and Video-encoding formats for streaming solutions: FFmpeg, HLS/RTMP/RTSP/SRT protocols...
