**Function**:
**Your mission**

Our multicultural **Purchasing team**, composed of 30 employees, located on the Braine-l'Alleud site, is currently looking for a **Project Leader - Technical purchasing **to strengthen this team.

**Do you have any experience in purchasing? Do you have any technical background or affinity for technical sector? Are you comfortable with negotiations and cost management? Then, this job is for you**

**What will you work on?**
- You will work on project strategy
- Under supervision of N+1, you will agree on the way to convert the Sales and Engineering information into Purchasing projets - from the preparation of the project plan to the reporting, passing by the presentation of the plan to the different stakeholders and the follow-up
- You will be in charge of the costs management (bill of material, reporting to senior management at key milestones)
- You will support Commodity Purchasing team by developing expertise in tooling for main processes
- You will evaluate suppliers’ tooling quotations to advise on competitiveness
- You will persuade suppliers to amend quotes for tooling to meet benchmark market competitive level
- You will support suppliers to achieve design change and reduce tool cost by engaging engineering

**Profile**:
**MUST HAVE**
- Experience level: Confirmed (3 to 5 years of similar experience)
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
- Good command of Microsoft Office (excel, word, powerpoint)
- Excellent organization and analytical skills
- Flexibility - Occasional business trips in Europe

**NICE TO HAVE**
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Good command of French or other languages
- Microsoft project
- Prince2 or other Project Management qualification
