**About Merchery**
Merchery is born from the simple observation that corporate gifts and promotional products are most of the time of very low quality. This billion $ market is shady, and often made of products people throw away after two weeks. Our vision at Merchery is to offer beautiful and carefully sourced products that people actually want. We are an early stage startup launched in April 2020, and are now looking for a new family member in our US team.
**Description of the function
**Sales Associate?**
As business developer, you will be a true swiss knife. Helping us grow the company, you will basically be in charge of expending our european client database.
**Responsibilities**
As a EU business developer you will participate in the accounts management, and help us:
- Organize and treat the incoming demands from new markets
- Measure and optimize your sales pipeline
- Build strong operational processes
- Work on improving the customer experience
- Working with our paid advertising freelancers to optimize our ads program
- Create and implement our upsell strategy
- Create and implement our retargeting strategy
- Collaborate with the content team to drive more visibility
- Organize the structure and strategy of our outbound strategy
- Constantly find new ideas to generate growth
**Profile description
**Qualifications/requirements**
¿ You have a strong interest and sensitivity to brands in general
- You are truly interested in our mission
- You hold a master degree or equivalent
- You are fluent in English - any other language is a plus
- You are a structured person and sharp with numbers
- You are familiar with Illustrator, Photoshop and/or willing to learn
