As a Business Controller for our Tax & Accounting (TAA) division across Europe, you will provide financial insights and strategic guidance to drive growth and operational efficiency. You will focus on cost management, time writing, CAPEX, and product profitability, as well as the further rollout of our tool Tagetik.

You will have the opportunity to shape and improve the efficiency of our budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting processes, and to develop strategic business plans. You will report to the VP & CFO of the Business Unit TAA Europe.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**
- Financial business partner TAA Europe technology and operations units.
- Coordinate, consolidate and present comprehensive financial statements and records.
- Develop and review detailed management reports.
- Drive key audit and compliance initiatives.
- Lead advanced financial planning, analysis, and modeling (Forecast, Budget and VSP cycli).
- Support and analyze time writing in TAA Europe.
- Manage the Tagetik roll out in TAA Europe.

**The team**
You will be part of the Finance team of 5 people. You will have one direct report, also based in Mechelen.

**Who are you?**
- You are a successful financial business partner and organizational leader. You are forward-thinking and proactive in identifying business problems and opportunities, developing action plans, and executing those plans.
- Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or a related field.
- Preferably experienced with a Big 4 firm.
- Minimum of 5 years in finance, preferably within product/software development or technology sectors.
- Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
