To support the procurement of its Renewables Energies activities and projects, John Cockerill Renewables (JCR) is looking for a:
**Procurement Manager Renewables**

**Your New Company**

John Cockerill Renewables has been heavily involved in the energy transition for several years. The group is positioned as a world leader in the production of green hydrogen and Solar towers. John Cockerill Renewables has four business units, Solar & Thermal, Hydrogen, Integrated Renewable Solutions (IRS) and Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC). Cross functionally working between Solar& Thermal, IRS and EPC, the Lead Buyer will support the constant growth of customers and associated projects.

**Your New Role**

The Procurement Manager supervises and mentors the procurement team. She/He is also the main interface between projects and business stakeholders and the Lead Buyers. She/He allocate procurement resource to projects according to needs while managing her/his own projects. She/He supports senior management with the definition and implementation of procurement procedures, process and strategies for three Renewables business lines, Solar & Thermal, Integrated Renewable Solutions (IRS) and Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC), to guarantee provisioning that meets requirements in terms of quality, performance, costs, risks and deadlines and the successful execution of the projects.

Under the responsibility of the VP Procurement Renewables and in support of the project and business stakeholders, you will be responsible for:

- **Supervision and Strategy**
- Support projects by allocating needed resource.
- Supervise lead buyers by ensuring that projects’ milestones, quality, and budget targets are met.
- Ensure that procurement projects are well tracked, and related information are up to date to give an accurate visibility to the project stakeholders and senior management.
- Implement and enforce John Cockerill Renewable procurement policies and procedures.
- Review Lead Buyers’ analysis and comparison before being presented to the project stakeholders.
- Approve with Lead Buyer and Project Manager, when necessary, bid table and / or validation documents to guarantee that purchase orders can be released to suppliers while minimizing associated risks.
- Evaluates the performance of her/his team.
- Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies.
- Rationalize supplier database.
- Assess new supplier before being incorporated to John Cockerill Renewables’ database
- Train and mentor new resources
- Negotiate, draft and conclude framework contracts and partnerships for high-potential products and services, within the framework of John Cockerill group's Procurement strategy and policy.
- Assess suppliers in accordance with ISO 9001 quality system
- Collect from the team monthly KPI and metrics for their consolidation on the department level
- Actively participate in the transformation of the procurement department by regularly evaluating the practices, methodologies, and procedures in place.
- **Project and Operational**
- Support to the pre-sales and projects to draft and launch tender packages, to source vendors and ensure their compliance with the requirements mentioned in the technical specifications.
