U zal werken in de afdeling Infrastructuur, die verantwoordelijk is voor het onderzoek en de uitvoering van investeringsprojecten, omvat zowel projectteams als een Expertise-afdeling. Binnen deze afdeling is het team Quality & Technical Integration / Design Standards & Tools verantwoordelijk voor de tools die door ontwerpers worden gebruikt en voor de ontwikkeling van standaardplannen die door projectteams als basis worden gebruikt voor het uitvoeren van studies. De Design Tools Specialist binnen dit team is verantwoordelijk voor de ontwerptools. Deze tools omvatten momenteel MicroStation, OpenUtilities Substation en ProjectWise, ontwikkeld door Bentley Systems.
**BELANGRIJKSTE TAKEN**
De Design Tools Specialist is verantwoordelijk voor:
- Aanpassingen en optimalisatie van ontwerptools op basis van gebruikersverzoeken en -behoeften, door configuratie of het creëren of aanpassen van macro's
- Ondersteuning van gebruikers van projectteams
- Het opvolgen van complexere problemen: analyse, contact met leverancierssupport, identificatie van workarounds
- Deelname aan de definitie van de ontwerpmethodologie
- Organisatie van trainingen en workshops over ontwerpsoftware
- Bijhouden van de documentatie voor beheerders en de methodologie
- Opvolging, evaluatie en validatie van nieuwe versies van de in productie gebruikte software, in samenwerking met de Business Analyst verantwoordelijk voor ontwerptools en leveranciers
- Validatie van materialen voor ontwerpers (bijvoorbeeld laptops)
- Technologische monitoring van beschikbare software
- en hardware oplossingen op de markt, om de meest interessante voor de onderneming te identificeren en eventueel te evalueren
- Coaching van directe collega’s
- Identificatie van opleidingsbehoeften bij directe collega’s en interne klanten
**EISEN AAN DE FUNCTIE**
- In het bezit van een diploma graduaat/bachelor (of heeft een gelijkwaardige ervaring): o in informatica, met interesse voor CAD-software o in een technische specialisatie gerelateerd aan tekenen (bijvoorbeeld: civiele techniek, elektriciteit, automatisering), met interesse voor informatica
- Beheerst, of is gemotiveerd om op termijn te beheersen, de gebruikte ontwerptools
- Streeft naar een hoog niveau van expertise in zijn specialisatie - Beheerst de Microsoft Office-suite, met name Excel, macro’s/VBA
- Beheerst perfect het Nederlands of het Frans, heeft een goede kennis van de tweede nationale taal en communiceert vloeiend in het Engels
- Hecht veel waarde aan de kwaliteit van het geleverde werk
- Toont zowel creativiteit als precisie en nauwkeurigheid
- Is georganiseerd en zelfstandig, ook in complexe situaties van probleemoplossing of bij het definiëren en implementeren van oplossingen
- Is klantgericht en heeft een teamspirit
- Is proactief en neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor de taken
- Communiceert gemakkelijk en assertief
- Toont flexibiliteit in het werk en kan zich aanpassen aan prioriteiten
- Is nieuwsgierig en geïnteresseerd in nieuwe technologieën (BIM,...) in een snel veranderend vakgebied.
