Production Supervisor

**Location**:Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium **Place of Work**: On Site The Night shift Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Team Leaders/Operators' team in order to convey the strategic vision of the site, dsm-firmenich's values and the objectives of his/her department. The Supervisor supports local management through projects and initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction, reducing costs and deploying better working practices. We are committed to equal employment opportunities and value diversity in the workplace. **Your key responsibilities** - Provides advice to their teams on production, technical problem solving and working practices that will lead to customer satisfaction. - Lead, motivate and develop the production team in line with the company's core values - Identify and drive the changes to improve production efficiency, increase yield and reduce production costs - Participate in the definition of the site master plan to align site capabilities with strategic objectives - Identify non-conformances and solve problems - Develop an HSE mindset, transmit it to the team and lead by example" **We bring** - A culture that prioritizes safety and well-being, both physically and mentally; - The opportunity to work for a company where sustainability is much more than a claim and is core to our strategy and purpose; - An eagerness to be one team and learn from each other to bring progress to life and create a better future. **You bring** - 7 years' experience in a production supervision position, ideally in the pharma/chemical/food industry - French is mandatory, English is a real plus - a LEAN green belt certification is a real plus - Ability to handle employee relation issues - Demonstrated Leadership, good communication skills as well as a continuous improvement mindset - Knowledge in SAP.
