The Wind Department within the Production department has the ambition to develop specific pilot projects to study the potential of new services and technical solutions aiming at optimizing the renewables production and the flexibility of our renewables assets as well as increase our revenue.
**Your daily job**
- You manage the project management of hybrid projects and services in the pipeline.
- You explore, analyze, and assess innovative ideas to add new revenue streams.
- You define project concepts based on thorough feasibility studies.
- You ensure seamless communication with a wide range of stakeholders, internal (such as Production, HSE, Legal, Business Development, Innovation, Procurement, Optimization, Regulatory Affairs) and external.
- Your role involves coordinating with other departments to verify regulatory requirements and address environmental and technical constraints.
- You're accountable for your project portfolio at various stages of development, identifying and mitigating risks for each initiative.
- Specifically for PV, BESS, and EV projects, you serve as a technical advisor to the Development team.
- You support Project Developers in discussions with clients and authorities.
- You build detailed and robust Business Cases in collaboration with the Finance department, preparing Decision Requests for the investment committee.
- You provide regular status reports to the Wind Program Manager, highlighting issues, risks, and proposing effective solutions or mitigation measures.
- Your expertise makes you a recognized specialist in Hybrid projects and Services within the Wind Department.
**Your Profile**
- You possess a university education or its equivalent.
- You have a minimum of five years of professional experience in the energy sector.
- Your expertise includes proven experience in project development.
- You have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint.
- You have a solid understanding of the energy market and financial management.
- Your knowledge of the existing regulatory context is a big plus.
- You are proficient in English and at least one of the national languages (Dutch, French, or German). If you speak both French and Dutch a significant plus.
- You are business-oriented and well-organized.
- You have excellent communication skills and a knack for delivering compelling presentations.
- You are a natural networker and team player.
- You demonstrate persistence and flexibility, constantly adapting to new priorities.
- Your proactive and purposeful attitude, coupled with a strong sense of autonomy, enables you to effectively solve problems.
- You are not only capable of taking on challenges but also excel at it, thanks to your creativity.
