We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced bicycle specialist who can lead our team of mechanics and give instructions. We are expanding and are immediately looking for a decisive employee who will join our team for the repair of bicycles. **About Yeply**:
We are Yeply, a modern Finnish start-up and a revolution in the old conservative structures of bicycle repair. Our mission is to make bicycle maintenance and repair simple, transparent and hassle-free. The maintenance and repairs will include e-Bikes, city bicycles, transport bicycles and children's bicycles, the mechanics ensure that all bicycles are 100% roadworthy again. We serve business customers (bicycle fleets) but also visit private individuals in the neighbourhood. So far we have serviced more than 150,000 bikes in Europe and the end is far from in sight

**Your tasks**:
You help build Yeply in the Netherlands & Belgium. This includes:

- Preventive maintenance of bikes and carry out complex repairs
- You are responsible for the turnover of your van
- Acting as a technical leader in the mechanic team
- Support in setting up and executing an onboarding and training program
- Lead, teach and help mechanics in your shift
- Lead administrative tasks and oversee process documentation including registration of work orders and digital records
- You carry out and lead the bicycle repairs in our hypermodern vans converted into a workshop
- Make sure that our quality and quantity of repairs meets our high standards
- Oversee the stock control of spare parts
- Work with a diverse team of mechanics
- Have direct communication with customers
- Ensure your safety and your colleague's safety

**What do you bring to the table**:

- A deep passion for cycling and the curiosity to do even the most complicated repairs
- A completed or equivalent MBO level 3 education with professional experience in the bicycle repairman craft sector.
- +2 years of bike maintenance experience
- Insight, initiative, inventiveness and years of work experience required to solve
- complex malfunctions on all common bicycles.
- Customer service experience
- Teaching and/or leadership experience. If not, eagerness to learn
- Humble and patient to teach and grow with your team
- You like the challenge of finding your structured workflow in a sometimes unstructured environment with an eye for detail and quality
- You show initiative, love responsibility and have a solution-oriented way of working Fluent in English (both written and oral) and or French and Dutch is a plus
