You will work as intern at Business Area Infrastructure in our Buildings - Energy Efficiency department which is responsible for sustainability studies for buildings as well as for industrial sites plays a major role in the growth strategy of the “Buildings and Complex structures”

**How will your day look like?**

We are looking for a motivated intern who will be investigate how to use and integrate H2 driven equipment’s (boilers, cogen, panels) for the reduction of building CO2 emissions on the building property (HVAC, mobility, storage on building level) As well as, how to use H2 on building level as storage system coupled to ems, to limit the impact and burden of the buildings electrification (heat pumps, e-cars parking) on the local grid REX on the Port of Antwerp, Volvo & MCA project on design, execution, maybe operation.

This involves:

- Assessment of the maturity of the market: client demands, as well as the products and services providers offer
- Map the competencies and competitive advantage the group has already or should still develop
- Look for other POC projects
- Assess the impact of the location on the appetite of the market and profitability / added value of H2 for buildings (climate, H2 supply,)
- List an characterize the limitations for the development of H2 in buildings (competencies, regulation, supply)
- Anticipate how the green up the H2 for buildings in the WW of H2 usage in buildings, report the summary of the best practices of H2 in buildings, enlist safety measure to use H2 in evaluate what the breakeven price of green - H2 should be to use in buildings and compete with natural gas and/or electricity, create a dynamis H2-usage model to see how H2 per hour, day, year will be used and stored in a building

**Who are we looking for?**
- You are a studying engineering and you wish to do an internship in an engineering company for at least 2 months.
- At the time of your internship, you're at least in your 1st master
- Master of Microsoft Pack Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)is an asset
- You are interested in working for an engineering company that is active in all phases of the project
- You speak fluently Dutch/English
- You are driven by the search of innovative solutions
- You are curious and have an initiative mindset
- You appreciate teamwork
- You are well organized and possess a strong team spirit
