Capital Markets Cloud Modernization requires enablement support to ensure we have a consistent well architected cloud native architecture, covering: operational excellency, security, reliability, performance, cost optimization and sustainability. We are looking for a leader in cloud working directly alongside our development teams and led by our Head of Cloud Engineering.

**GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Architect, design, and implementation of Java/.NET microservices on public AWS/Azure/GCP cloud using Terraform. Implement Monolith to Microservices architecture in cloud. Container, and side car container orchestration using EKS/AKS. Design distributed services to scale.
- Subject matter expert in public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) infrastructure architecture and well-architected framework related to multi-tenancy, compute, network, storage, and native SaaS/PaaS offerings.
- Develop cost effective scalable and future proofing infrastructure solutions based on the business requirements for product services that covers both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Lead Proof of Values (POVs), sandbox testing, pre-production readiness efforts and knowledge transfer to the product engineering teams to accelerate software production delivery.
- Implement cloud computing architecture solutions adhering to cloud security and compliance fundamentals, deployment automation and elastic sizing of environments and multi-tenancy.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and operating secure architecture and reference architectures in public AWS/Azure/GCP cloud.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES**
- Hands-on experience in Java/.NET microservices on public AWS/Azure/GCP cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and DevOps.
- Hands-on experience working with Identity & Access Management (IAM) on architecture strategies for migration to modern authentication.
- Hands-on experience in building containerization.
- Hands-on experience in cloud modernization.
- Hands-on experience in building cloud cost effective databases.
- Hands-on experience in building observability, performant, scalable, reliable and sustainable cloud assets.
- Hands-on experience on design solutions using open-source technologies for containers, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Helm, and Kafka.
- A hands-on technical leader across the clouds AWS/Azure/GCP. The technical leader should be able to work with Capital Markets product engineering teams to architect and implement Capital Markets products on public clouds._
- Has a history of partnering with Enterprise Architects, Security teams, Application Architects & Engineers to architect, design, and develop alternative solutions to select the best fit option for products and services to meet business requirements; has also partnered with security to protect our products and data._
- Expertise in core infrastructure services such as VPC/VNET, DNS, DHCP, network routing and security group/firewall management; extensive working knowledge of AWS/Azure products and services.
- Strong knowledge of.NET Core, C#, [ASP.NET], Cosmo DB and SQL Server.
- Design and deploy CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Harness, Ansible, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Certification(s):

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified; Azure DevOps Engineer Expert/.NET Solution Architect/.NET Architect with Azure. OR
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- expertise understanding of the offerings within AWS, including CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, AWS EKS, ECR, CloudFormation, Terraform, Service Catalog, Route 53, AWS CLI, ELB, Secrets Manager, KMS, IAM, Systems Manager, Lambda, SNS, EventBridge, RDS, Glue, Aurora, and API Gateway.
