**Cloud Platform Owner: GCP**

We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Owner, focused on governance and development of our Global Cloud Platform as a foundational enterprise service.

This is a technology management role, focused on creation and execution on governance policies and procedures - including cost optimization, technological enablement efficiency, resource management, and compliance. Operational context for this role is Cloud Center of Excellence.

**As a Cloud Platform Owner, you will**:

- Be the Governance champion of GCP cloud.
- Be our go-to for any operations on the cloud platform from both technology and process perspectives.
- Establish technological and operational governance.
- Drive technological decisions enabling corporate business units on GCP.
- Create and maintain roadmap and strategy for the cloud platform evolution.
- On-board internal customers on GCP for self-serve operations.

**What you bring to the table**:

- Bachelor’s in computer science, or equivalent
- 12+ years of continuously evolving career in technology
- 8+ years of focus on the cloud, specializing in GCP-based solutions
- Deep understanding and certifications in Google-centric technologies
- Robust experience with other technologies, interoperating with GCP cloud
- Background in system administration, with exposure to systems development
- Experience in operating technological platforms in at least mid-size enterprise context
- Experience in establishing and promoting technological and process governance
- Experience interoperating with broad variety of business and tech teams
- Experience with people and process management
- Experience with running infrastructure operations

**The following are not required, though definitely nice to have**:

- Intellectual maturity and calm (grace under pressure) when dealing with transformational efforts
- No-nonsense attitude, confidence, respectable skills, and sound knowledge
- Be experienced, confident, playing hard and fair
