Data Quality Consultant - Capyx
Mission Context
Capyx is seeking an experienced Data Quality Consultant to strengthen our data governance capabilities. You will play a key role in improving the quality of our data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing our governance processes. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and participation in strategic projects to improve our data quality framework.
Key Responsibilities
Data Quality Strategy and Governance
Define and implement data quality policies and frameworks
Collaborate with business and IT teams to identify requirements
Conduct regular audits and prepare reports for management
Continuously evaluate and improve policies and frameworks
Data Quality Control, Analysis, and Remediation
Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor quality
Analyse anomalies and inconsistencies across systems
Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with IT and business teams
Manage incidents and remediation efforts
Document processes and corrective actions
Tools and Technologies
Use and configure tools such as Ab Initio and Qlik Sense
Automate controls using Ab Initio or SQL
Stay current on new technologies and participate in tool integration
Training and Support
Raise awareness and train business teams
Promote a data-driven culture

Profile Requirements
Master's in data, management, or related field
6+ years' experience as Data Quality Analyst or Data Governance Analyst
Expertise in SQL and data quality management tools (Ab Initio, etc.)
Proficiency in SQL or another scripting language (Python)
Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and ETL principles
Understanding of BCBS 239 and data regulations
Experience with data visualization (Qlik Sense)
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Fluency in English; good command of French and/or Dutch is a must
