**Function description**:
Key Responsibilities

Data Quality Strategy and Governance

Define and implement data quality policies and frameworks.

Collaborate with business and IT teams to identify data quality requirements.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (BCBS 239).

Continuously evaluate and improve data quality policies.

Conduct regular data quality audits and prepare reports for management.

Data Quality Control, Analysis, and Remediation

Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor data quality.

Analyse anomalies, inconsistencies, etc. in systems.

Work with IT and business teams to propose corrective and preventive actions.

Manage data quality incidents and coordinate remediation efforts.

Document data quality processes and corrective actions.

Tools and Technologies

Use and configure data quality management tools (e.g., Ab Initio, Qlik Sense).

Automate data quality controls using Ab Initio or SQL.

Stay updated on new tools and technologies to enhance data quality.

Participate in the integration of new data quality management tools.

Training and Support

Raise awareness and train business teams on the importance of data quality.

Promote a data-driven culture within the organization

**Experience**:
+6 years experience as Data Quality Analyst, Data Governance Analyst in a banking or financial environment

**Technical Experience**:
**Mandatory**
- Expertise in SQL and data quality management tools (Ab Initio, etc.).
- Proficiency in SQL or another scripting language (Python) for automation.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
- Knowledge of ETL principles and data architectures (DWH, Data Lake, etc.).
- Understanding of banking data regulations (BCBS 239).
- Experience with data visualization tools like QlikSense.

**Business Experience**:
**Mandatory**
- Ability to identify and analyze data quality issues.
- Strong ability to synthesize and present results to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in data governance and implementing quality processes.
- Project management experience, especially in transformation projects.

**Soft skills**
- Analytical mindset and rigor.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with IT and business teams.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
