We are hiring a Technology Expert for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) **in Brussels**. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Main Responsibilities
PROVISIONAL DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
In this context, the tasks include:
Creation and maintenance of a Business Object data warehouse;
Gathering & analysis of the business requirements;
Design, development and documentation of complex Business Object reports;
Design, development and documentation of complex Dashboards;
ETL processes (BODS) review, analysis of improvements and implementation;
Data modelling;
Physical DB design and DB performance analysis;
Elaboration of test programs;
Technical migration to new tools or to new versions;
Writing of Business and Technical documentation;
Assistance in the implementation of Datawarehouse development methodologies to the team;
Collaboration with the team leader in the elaboration of strategy documents related to the Datawarehouse.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
In depth knowledge of relational database systems applied to data warehouse;
In depth knowledge of data warehouse architecture;
In depth knowledge of SQL;
In depth knowledge of Business Objects reporting tools;
In depth knowledge of ETL tools (BODS will be an asset);
Good knowledge of Data quality concepts;
Knowledge about development of dashboards will be an asset;
Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication;
Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability and experience in working in team;
Knowledge of the organisation of the European Commission and experience working in an EC environment is an asset;
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Experience in Data Analytics (Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud) is an asset
Experience in Data Virtualisation (Denodo) or Real Time reporting is an asset
Experience in Data Science (R-RStudio, Python-Anaconda or Knime) is an asset

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE REQUIRED
Minimum 3 years of cumulated specific expertise in the following:
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Business Objects (SAP BI);
Minimum 3 years of experience in ETL development (SAP DS, BODS or BODI);
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in RDMBS Database development, Data Modelling and SQL;
Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Warehouse;**Important**
