We are hiring a Technology Expert for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) **in Brussels**. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Main Responsibilities
Nature of the tasks
Non-exhaustive list of the tasks to be carried out:
Ability to test efficiently and fast
- Definition of test strategy, test plans, test cases and test scenarios
- Definition of risks concerning test activities
- Construction of test scenarios and scripts
- Preparation of test data
- Development and maintenance of automated tests
- Coordination of automated testing across the development team and review of their automating testing practices
- Coordination of all the QA activities, test results, defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement
- Manual test execution if and when needed
- Reporting of test results
- Assistance with organization and execution of UAT
- Interact with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers
- Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Analysis and problem solving
- Contribution to the implementation of the technical architecture and DevOps
- In-depth knowledge of business process analysis
- Knowledge of modern web technologies (e.g. web services, message oriented middleware, MVC pattern) is a plus
- Ability to give business and technical presentations.

Knowledge and skills
- Deep knowledge in one or more domains of the study required for the function (e.g. quality control, security, infrastructure, development language, knowledge of technology required, requirements analysis, performance analysis, a specific technical domain like vulnerability testing, business process modelling, etc.)
- Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
- Ability to participate in meetings, good communication skills
- Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment/team.
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
- Ability to work with a high degree of rigour and method and, more specifically, to follow naming conventions and coding standards;
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;
- Excellent Team Player
- Ability to understand, speak and write English is a must

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
- At least 11 years of specific experience in the IT testing.
- Extensive experience in Agile projects and the use of Atlassian suite (Confluence, Jira, including Zephyr)
- Excellent knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile/Scrum)
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in integration projects
- High level understanding of Oracle Weblogic
- Good knowledge of Selenium WebDriver FAT (functional automated tool),, PostMan, Cucumber.
- Knowledge of WebServices
- Good knowledge of Zephyr for Jira, planning Test Cycles and generating Test Reports
- Good knowledge of API tests, BDD (Behavioral driven development)
- Knowledge of SQL and non-SQL databases and search engines (Solr / Elastic search)
- Overall knowledge of Java Spring Boot development processes ( deployment / how to build - maven / how to test - rest api )
- Good understanding of Web security and GDPR
- Ability to help in development OR understand automated tests in existing test framework using in Java/JavaScript/JSON files
- Good Knowledge of SQL queries
- In-depth knowledge of IS quality assurance and quality control
- Ability to coordinate a team performing Quality/testing activities as well as helping client with UAT tests
