**What will you do?**
- Design and build modern data platforms—on-premise or in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)—to support diverse analytics, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines (batch and real-time), leveraging tools like Spark, Kafka, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Support the implementation and customization of data management solutions (e.g., Collibra, Snowflake, Informatica, Dataiku).
- Define data quality rules, trace data lineage, and enforce data governance policies to ensure reliable and compliant datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, business, compliance) to align data initiatives with broader organizational strategies and regulations.
- Contribute to shaping data strategies—identify roadblocks, prioritize improvements, and guide clients toward scalable, future-proof solutions.

This position is not offered 100% remote, and we cannot support relocation to Belgium.

**Your skills & qualifications**:

- A genuine enthusiasm for data and its potential to transform businesses.
- Experience or strong interest in data engineering, data architecture, data governance, or data analytics.
- _ Junior-Level_ (1-3 years experience) Familiarity with SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, Java). Knowledge of basic ETL/ELT processes and cloud platforms is a plus.
- _ Mid-Level_ (3-6 years experience) Proven track record in building data pipelines, designing data models, or implementing data governance frameworks. Hands-on experience with one or more data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Collibra, Snowflake).
- _ Senior/Lead_ (+7 years experience) Ability to lead and mentor project teams, shape technical strategies, and manage stakeholder relationships. Demonstrated expertise in large-scale data platform implementations and/or management consulting.
- Solid understanding of (or willingness to learn) financial services regulations and challenges.
- A “can-do” attitude—comfortable working with ambiguous requirements and turning them into tangible results.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch or French is highly valued.
