**Introduction**:
**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:

- Extensive software development experience with:

- Java, JSP, JavaScript, CSS;
- Python;
- Extensive experience with SQL databases;
- Very strong experience in developing with Atlassian software, mostly with Jira and Confluence.

**Duties/role**:

- Assessing a new request for development (in form of a Jira ticket) entered by the NCIA Service Delivery Manager (SDM) in terms of complexity of development and associated time required to develop such request;
- Updating the existing agreed development tasks requested through the Jira platform in terms of the percentage of completion to achieve the objective;
- Implementing the code that has been authorised for deployment by NCSC Change Advisory Board (CAB) on NCSC networks and demonstrating to NCIA staff the newly developed capability.
