IndustriAll Europe is looking for a **talented**, **creative **and **motivated communicator **to strengthen industriAll Europe’s voice in promoting a social Europe and fighting for the interests of industrial workers in Europe. In close cooperation with industriAll Europe’s communication officer, the communications assistant will carry out a variety of communications tasks around industriAll Europe’s activities and events, with a particular **focus on social media and campaigns**.

**Main tasks**
- Develop the communications profile of industriAll Europe, with a particular focus on developing social media and campaigning
- Plan and create engaging content for industriAll Europe’s social media channels and campaigns,

including videos
- Develop the media screening of the organisation and increase its outreach
- Assist with writing and editing a variety of articles in concise and easy to read English
- Assist with the preparation of industriAll Europe publications
- Assist with online visuals, ordering communications materials, layout of documents
- Assist with photography

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrable engagement with social movements and trade unions will be an advantage
- Knowledge of EU affairs
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in communications work, including writing press releases, using

social media and developing websites and social media tools
- Ability to work with basic graphic design tools
- Analytical and reporting skills, and experience of using key analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics and Facebook Insights
- Experience and/or interest in developing media campaigns for a large European organisation
- Excellent English (C2) and a good knowledge of either German or French. Knowledge of other European languages is a distinct advantage
- Collaborative in your approach and able to work in a multicultural team
- Good organisational skills

**Offer**

We offer a three-year, full-time contract, based in industriAll Europe’s offices in Brussels: International Trade Union House (ITUH), 5 Boulevard du Roi Albert II, 1210 Brussels, Belgium.

Besides the gross salary, other legal and extra-legal benefits are part of the remuneration package.
