Founded in 2022 in Brussels, we are dedicated to bringing the freshest and most delicious starters, rice bowls, and maki to your table. We pride ourselves on using only the highest quality and sustainable ingredients and preparing each dish with care and precision.

We are opening a brand new RORU branch located in the heart of Leuven and we’re looking forward to welcoming anyone eager to create and live a true Japanese experience by joining our team

WHAT ARE YOUR DUTIES ON AN AVERAGE DAY:

- You are responsible for the daily management of the Sushi Shop: you manage the shop with care and attention. You solve any kind of problems (absences, malfunctions, complaints by customers,.) in an constructive manner
- As a real ambassador of Roru you greet and service our guests with a big smile. You make sure they have an unforgettable experience. The shop’s image is prior on your list
- You inspire and motivate your team to achieve the required results
- You’ll work at the Front office and help your colleagues in the kitchen with some basic prepping
- You prepare and sell our Take Away products with love and precision
- You take the payment and make sure to greet the guests enthusiastically when they leave
- You take care of cleaning the front office, the tables, bar, toilets, dishwashing area and storage. You follow the daily and weekly “cleaning” checklists
- You use the appropriate equipment and devices and maintain them professionally
- You receive, control, and store the delivered supplies
- You scrupulously respect hygiene rules (HACCP: wash hands - expiry date - FIFO - product temperature -)
- You create a positive atmosphere and resolve conflicts and frustrations in a constructive way, while coaching your team and being a good example at all times
- You control the smooth running of all procedures (service - products - hygiene/HACCP - safety - checkout -) and do a regular check up on product quality.
- You report directly to the Manager

- Experience in the Horeca is a plus
- Language skills: English + Dutch (Not a Must)

PRACTICAL

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent contract

Pay: €2.720,00 - €2.800,00 per month
