Operational Excellence and Quality System Manager

**Pourquoi a-t-on besoin de vous ?** As **Operational Excellence & Quality System Manager**, you will be responsible for: - The overall quality of the organization, including the quality system, regulatory compliance, product/process quality (QA/QC) - The operational excellence of the site through the coordination of operational processes, their coherence, their performance and their evolution as well as the WCM/ continuous improvement approach in connection with the transformation of the site - The industrial of news products and processes, by guaranteeing the management of major development projects (according to the APQP if automotive project) and the robustness of processes upstream of the ramp-up As a key member of the site’s leadership team, you ensure cross-functional alignment between R&D, production, supply chain, quality, and project teams to guarantee the sustainable performance of the company **Ce poste est-il fait pour vous ?** 1. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Deploy visual management within the workshop and animate the safety and quality culture at all levels of the organization. Promote continuous improvement and eventually deploy the WCM/Lean approach throughout the site in collaboration with the WCM transversal European team. 2. Quality System and governance of operational processes: Develop the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with applicable standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, etc.), in collaboration with the transversal European quality team. Coordinate the efficiency of processes between departments (flows, steering, document coordination, etc.). 3. Operational quality (temporarily): Prepare the transfer of operational quality (product/process) to the Quality Control & Claims Manager while acting as its direct backup. 4. Industrialization of new products: Manage industrialization projects in coordination with R&D and production (transfer of responsibility from the first tests on the industrial line). 5. Coordination and cross-functional management: Organize the steering committee for various internal projects (beyond the industrialization of new products). **Pour être sûr de ne rien oublier** - Engineering degree or equivalent with specialization in quality, processes or industrial production. - Significant experience (>5 years) in global quality management (QA/QC/QMS), industrialization and process governance in an industrial environment (industrial/chemical/automotive sector), ideally in direct contact with customers and suppliers. - Mastery of quality standards (ISO, IATF, industry standards). - Strong project management, cross-functional management and team leadership skills. - Internal auditor training a plus. - Analytical mind, rigor and organizational skills. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. - Procedural and results-oriented. - Strong customer awareness, given the sometimes difficult negotiations and the critical importance of customer loyalty - Strong interest in digital tools. - Fluent in English. **On vous en dit plus sur nous** Worldwide leader in light and sustainable construction, Saint-Gobain designs, manufactures and distributes materials and services for the construction and industrial markets.
