Within the Finance Business Partner Department of Proximus, we are looking for a Finance Specialist for the Business Unit Customer Operations.

Context

With a yearly Opex of 360 M€, a Capex of 240 M€ and 3.000 FTE, the Customer Operations business unit is at the heart of the customer interactions of Proximus, through field work inside and outside the customer premises, through customer service centers and Logistics. CUO serves as well the residential as the professional customers.

CUO plays an essential role in the roll-out of the Fiber network and other new technologies and is key in the continuous improvement of the digital customer experience

Your role

As member of the Finance Business Partner team for Customer Operations (CUO), you will be responsible together with your colleagues for the management of the CUO financials : analysis of the actuals, rolling forecast, budget and long term planning, for both EBITDA and CAPEX. You report to the CUO Finance business partners Lead.

More in concreto, you will:

- be the finance business partner for CUO directors of Logistics, Billing & Collection, Omnicare and Process Chapter Area, which means you will be working closely together with these business teams on the budget, monthly rolling forecast and analysis of the actuals.
- monitor the internal workforce cost and the external contractors of CUO
- follow-up actively the efficiency savings program for CUO, in close collaboration with the business
- perform the gross to net OPEX analysis of CUO, through a good understanding of the CUO year over year financial and business evolution
- monitor the Capex budget for Customer Operations, and more specific you will be responsible for the financial management of the projects to improve the customer experience:
You will participate in the preparation of business cases, analyse the proposed hypotheses, write financial analyses and take care of the financial monitoring of ongoing projects. You challenge received data to maximize company performance and value. You are also responsible for carrying out sensitivity analyses, using benchmarks, etc. You are close to business and act as a real financial partner, while maintaining a critical attitude and daring to question business proposals.
- Work closely together with the finance business partners of other business units and other financial departments (accounting, tax, legal, regulatory, procurement, treasury,)

Profile

In order to manage all the above, we are looking for a colleague who:

- Has the ability to learn quickly and master (new) areas of the telco business
- Has good presentation skills (oral and writing);
- Is agile and can handle ambiguity
- is well organized and can work with tight deadlines;
- is result-oriented, has an analytical mind and can cope with stress;
- is a very good team player with excellent communication skills;
- is proactive, assertive and diplomatic.

Has an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and ready to invest in other software tools (TM1, SAP, Microstrategy, Power BI,)

Regarding your education & experience, we prefer a university degree, supplemented with at least 5 years of experience in a financial domain (audit, controlling, financial analysis). You have a good knowledge of French, Dutch and English (oral and in writing)
