As a **Project Controller**, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial and commercial aspects of high-profile real estate projects. Working closely with project managers, you’ll provide insights, ensure budget integrity, and contribute to the financial success of our developments.
Join a young and dynamic finance team that values collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. You’ll report directly to the Head of Finance Belgium and be at the heart of strategic decision-making.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Financial Oversight & Budgeting: Analyze project budgets, track variances, and ensure financial transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Business Partnering: Be the go-to finance expert for project managers (developers, legal, and technical teams) and provide insights on actuals, budgeting, and financing.
- Performance Monitoring: Review and analyze committed, expended, and forecasted costs, ensuring alignment with the approved budget.
- Strategic Reporting: Prepare quarterly financial reports and clearly communicate variances and forecasts to stakeholders.
- Data Reconciliation: Align financial data with accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process enhancements and work closely with project managers to optimize financial control systems.
- Ad-Hoc Financial Tasks: Support corporate finance in cash planning and business plan preparation.
**What We’re Looking For**
- Experience: You have 3-4 years of relevant experience in Controlling, Audit, or a project-driven finance role. Experience in real estate development or construction? That’s a strong plus
- Languages: Fluent in French and/or Dutch with a good level of English
- Mindset: A team player who’s also self-driven, detail-oriented, and thrives under deadlines.
- Analytical Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to challenge assumptions.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Excel is essential; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
