**Your new role**
As a Logistics Manager EMEA, you will oversee all aspects of warehousing, transportation, distribution, and trade compliance for our products and spare parts in the EMEA region. You will report to the EMEA Head of Supply Chain and lead a team of logistics professionals. You will also work with global and regional partners to develop and implement strategies that optimize costs, quality, and service levels.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in managing warehousing, transportation, distribution, and trade compliance operations in the EMEA region (including Belgian, Spanish & Turkey logistics operations).
- Knowledge of the EMEA customs environment and regulations
- Expertise in supply chain distribution and logistics processes and best practices
- Analytical skills and ability to identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
- Leadership skills and ability to foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Alignment with our company’s mission, culture, and values
- Be the voice of the EMEA Supply Chain Organization in various events and projects involving 3PLs and other entities.
- Communicate and coordinate with other functions and departments to understand and meet the logistics needs and objectives of the organization.
- Manage and comply with the trade compliance rules for importing and exporting life science products.
- Support the annual EMEA logistics budget planning and development and monitor and control the departmental expenditure.
- Measure, monitor and report on the EMEA logistics opportunities, plans, and achievements on a monthly basis.
- Be the representative of the EMEA Supply Chain Organization for internal and external audits and conduct audits to the 3PL warehouses at least once per year.
- Recruit, manage, train and motivate the EMEA Logistics Team, consisting of experts in warehousing, transportation and inventory control, according to the company policies and procedures.

**Your profile**
- A Master’s degree or equivalent knowledge in a relevant field.
- At least five years of experience in an international supply chain environment, dealing with Customs & Trade compliance, Warehousing and transportation in an EMEA or Global context.
- Management experience in managing departmental resources and delivering short and long term business goals.
- Experience with managing 3PL suppliers and working in the medical or pharmaceutical industry (preferred).
- Understanding of accounting and finance to analyze costs and benefits of strategies, projects, or initiatives.
- Ability to manage complex projects and meet budget and schedule constraints and project objectives.
- Ability to establish project schedules, manage projects, set priorities, set objectives, and negotiate deadlines.
- Ability to work proactively in a global environment and develop a strong network at all levels.
- Experience in establishing infrastructure for a first-class supply chain, including policies, procedures, performance standards and KPIs.
- Background to work with ERP systems and other supply chain software tools.
- Proficiency in English, Dutch is an asset.
