Head of IT Belgium

We are currently looking for a driven **Head of IT Belgium** who will be working within the **European IT team** on a** permanent** basis.

This person will be based in **Zaventem **and will be **reporting** **to** the **Head of European IT Projects & Strategy**.

**In this role ou will take up the following responsibilities**:
**Strategy**
- Work with the local senior team to agree the IT roadmap aligned to the Toyota Motor Europe and Inchcape strategies and local business priorities, creating one overall roadmap for the market.
- Publish and communicate the roadmap and keep it regularly refreshed as priorities change.
- Ensure the roadmap and funding are aligned.
- Drive a mindset of leveraging Group, regional or Toyota Motor Europe solutions, keeping local solutions to an absolute minimum.

**Delivery**
- Deliver the agreed portfolio of projects on time, to budget and to the agreed requirements and quality.
- Ensure the defined benefits are tracked and delivered.
- Manage the demand pipeline for new projects ensuring a rigorous process for agreeing which possible projects are taken forward.
- Ensure a rigorous and consistent project governance process is in place (in line with the global IT governance process) covering the full life cycle of the project, from inception and sign off though to delivery, handover to support and benefits realisation.
- Manage the Application Development and Support function to ensure continuity and improvement of key business services through an agreed pipeline of prioritised activity.

**Team**
- Manage the local Application Development and Projects team.
- Ensure their objectives and priorities are clear.
- Ensure regular review and feedback for all team members.
- Ensure the Inchcape processes of objectives, appraisals, developments are followed.
- Build a culture of pro-activity within the team.
- Ensure delivery through the Global Platforms and Digital Delivery Centres is maximised to optimise the strategic landscape and cost of delivery and ongoing support.

**IT Relationship**
- Be the senior IT contact point for the Belgium market.
- Be a pro-active member of the Belgium Senior Management Team, helping drive the local strategy.
- Seek out opportunities to drive the Belgium business forward using technology and by adopting the Toyota Motor Europe or Inchcape strategies.
- Own the local IT budgeting process and cost management.
- Have an overall view of the IT delivery in the market and be the escalation point for any service issues.

**Profile**
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree within the IT field or have gained relevant IT experience.
- You have a track record of building, communicating and delivering IT strategies / roadmaps.
- You have experience in delivering projects to a high standard.
- You can manage high performing teams.
- You are used to working in a local/regional/global environment.
- You are able to work in a complex international, matrix run, organisation.
- You have over more than 5 years Senior IT management experience, working at an Executive team level.
- You have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all management levels including at Exec level.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills.
- You are good at teamwork, are flexible and have influencing skills.
- You are energetic and engaging.
