Our **EMEA Human Resources team** is dedicated to enhancing the employee experience at every key moment of their journey at Terumo.
**HR Managers and Business Partners** collaborate with Business Units, Support Functions, and Country Managers to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
The **People Solutions team**leverages HR analytics to create innovative solutions, foster an inspiring culture, and provide growth opportunities for employees.
For HR administration and systems-related inquiries, the **People Experience team** ensures employees receive the necessary support and guidance.
**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented **Compensation & Benefits Intern/Payroll Intern** to support our HR team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in payroll processing, compensation and benefits, and HR systems in a dynamic and international environment.
**Responsibilities**:
Assist in the **processing of payroll activities** and respond to inquiries from employees and managers.
Support the **Senior Compensation & Benefits Expert** in improving efficiency and quality in salary reporting, payroll administration, and compensation & benefits matters.
Help ensure **data accuracy in HR systems** and support HRIS process optimization.
Contribute to **HR reporting and analytics**, including payroll and personnel data.
Assist in maintaining and improving **self-service HR tools and internal communication**.
Support compliance with **J-SOX, GDPR, and social legislation**.
Collaborate with HR team members on **various HR projects and initiatives**.
**Profile Description**:
- Currently pursuing a **Bachelor’s or Master’s degree** in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of **payroll processing** or willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in **Excel** and an interest in HR systems (experience with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus).
- Fluency in **Dutch and English** (additional languages are a plus).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
