Who are we looking for?

A team player who will ensure that our invoices are paid on time. You will bring relevant experience that will help you in setting credit limits and making agreements with customers about their (late) payments. When you encounter a problem, you see it as an opportunity and from a mistake (we are human and we make mistakes) you make a learning opportunity. We provide the “blood” of our company, without Credit & Collection, there is no cash, and without cash, no company. You will adhere to our procedures and policies, but also work creatively and enthusiastically on improving them so that we can become the best C&C Team in our industry. And of course, the better we become, the more we can celebrate our successes. :)

What is your job description?
- You manage a specific customer portfolio
- You follow up on outstanding claims, both by phone and in writing. The stricter approach is also part of our treatment plan and policy, such as debt collection, use of our Legal Department, etc.
- You monitor payment behaviour and take corrective action where necessary.
- You help limit the risks of non-payment by playing a role in setting credit limits, using bank guarantees...
- You will expand your network with customers and within our company. Together we are strong
- You involve Sales where necessary to maximise timely payments and minimise risk.
- You take care of resolving non-allocated payments and payment differences.
- You will make reports.
- You follow up the Finance mailbox on a daily basis (mailbox assigned to Credit & Collection)
- You carry out ad hoc administrative tasks requested by management.
- You help the team where necessary and you are each other's back-up.
- You work closely with the Credit & Collection Manager

What is your profile?
- You have at least 2-5 years of experience in the field of Credit & Collecting and a basic knowledge of accounting, or can convince us that you will learn quickly.
- You have experience with Credit & Collecting tools and good knowledge of Excel. Experience with Navision would be an advantage
- You enjoy working with focus at a PC and on the phone. Not with the idea to conquer the world, but ailed at contacting our customers at the right time with the right approach to get our payments.
- You are a born negotiator.
- You are clear, constructive and commercial in your communication and make things clear in simple terms. Ideally, you will do this fluently in the two national languages and in English; some German would be nice.
- You have an affinity with figures that goes far beyond the result of the Lotto.
- You have an eye for detail and love the analytical side of the job. You don’t stop until you can find and solve the cause of problems. and, when faced with repetitive problems, you enjoy finding structural solutions.
- You go towards your goal in a structured way and only the best results are good enough for you.
- You have a “can do” attitude and are happy to work on your own but also enjoy involving the others in our team and the rest of our company. At the same time, helping others is something that comes naturally to you.
