We are currently looking for a “Bid Team Manager” to support the business in achieving its objectives.
You oversee the execution of the overall bidding process regarding large, complex issues including IT services, solutions, design, or manufacturing services. Responsible for assembling required resources and skills to develop proposal content. You manage the preparation of bids, proposal content, conformance to Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements, customer liaison and business partner/vendor coordination. As a Team Manager you select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.**Working at NTT**

The responsibility of the Bid Managers team is to manage in-country bids from the time a sales opportunity is qualified in (assessed as a desirable deal for NTT to pursue) to the time that it is won or lost and handed over to the delivery team that will fulfil the project or contract with the client.

As a Team Manager you also make sure your team has the right skills, knowledges and tools to ensure the Bid Processes are greatly achieved and you take the full ownership for your own Bid Processes.

In this position you will be required to:

- Ensure that the Bid team members take the full ownership of the Bid Activity’s assigned to them as due date, manage communication and collaboration to other departments,
- Lead by example by taking full ownership of your own bid processes.
- Ensure the effective and efficient development of a compelling value proposition that will meet the client’s needs and expectations.
- Manage the in-country bid process from the time of sales qualification up to the time that bid is handed to the delivery team for fulfilment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Facilitate the sourcing of general bid collateral and facilitate the delivery of all client-facing deliverables
**What will make you a good fit for the role?**
- 7 - 10 year’s work experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in Bid Management and/or Project Management
- Gives direction to employees according to established policies and management guidelines
- Interacts with subordinate managers or peers from other functional areas in other to gain cooperation
- Ability to facilitate effectively is a key requirement of the job, as is the attention to detail and quality.
- Sound business acumen, market awareness and a conceptual grasp of technology, commercials and services is required.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Inspirational communicator with the ability to engage with internal and external audiences.
- You show a high level of innovation and initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You’re persuasive and influential and use your leadership skills to improve the bid management process.
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) with a great level in Dutch
