Officer Digital Health Ecosystems

**Key respons**ibilities a**nd activities**
- The primary role will be to **support** the colleagues responsible for the **implementation of the new digital health legislation**. More specifically, you will support the implementation of key legislative files in the field of health data governance, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
- **Members Coordination** - MedTech Europe´s membership includes both manufacturers of medical technologies and national associations working in the medical technology sector across Europe. These members provide experts, experience, and support for our work in the field of digital health, and they need to be informed and coordinated in their actions.
- **Exposure to EU institutions **- as with all European Regulations, effective implementation requires working with EU institutions as a partner to ensure a smooth transition and implementation of the new digital health regulations.
- **Coordination within the MedTech Europe team** - work within MedTech Europe is highly collaborative and even though there is a strong focus in this position on digital health, it is important and expected that members of other teams who will be impacted be kept appraised of developments in the digital health field, but also that some effort is made to understand the work and area of activity of other colleagues in MedTech Europe.

**How you contribute**
- **Collaborating** - You won´t work alone - collaborating with the rest of the MedTech Europe team in order to meet common goals will be essential.
- **Communication** - Learning how to bridge the gap between technical and policy communication, talking both to industry and policymakers and being able to communicate in a manner that is both effective and efficient will be the basis of the learning curve.
- **Project coordination** - Planning and supporting various projects - meeting and event organisation, preparation of various documents in collaboration with other team members.
- **Group coordination** - Being able to interact with and effectively work with our digital health working groups to support the implementation of the digital health regulations.

- **Experience with Industry** - Extensive exposure to the Medical Technology industry will increase both your knowledge of the field and your contacts within it.
- **Subject knowledge **- Develop your knowledge in the Digital Health field.
- **Personal growth** - Over time, competences, knowledge and confidence will be developed, all of which MedTech Europe seeks to foster.

**Skills and qualifications which we are looking for**
- Analytical mindset, ability to carry out research and present results effectively both in written and orally
- Organisation: keep things moving, keep them organised and drive towards goals and results.
- Project management skills
- EU knowledge: understanding of the functioning of the EU and its policy-making process including implementation of new law relevant to MedTech.
- Professional experience in MedTech Industry, Pharmaceutical Industry, EU institutions, consultancy, association, NGO is an asset
- Master’s degree, preferably in humanities, social/political sciences, IT, economics, law, or other relevant fields
- Excellent command of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and proficiency in other IT tools, such as Teams, Zoom, Webex, One Note etc.
- Fluency in English
- Eligible to work in Belgium
