**About the Role**
We provide our clients with a comprehensive view of strategic communications that leverages our integrated suite of services, including financial communications, corporate reputation, transaction communications and public affairs in all the major markets around the world.

FTI Brussels is looking for a TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunications) sector professional;

In this role you will be a senior member of a team of experts who advise a broad range of clients in TMT on how to navigate a plethora of public policy and communications challenges, in Brussels and in national capitals, as well as internationally. We help our clients create sustainable relationships with policy makers, interest groups, industry and the media.

As a senior member of the team, you will play a key proactive role in leading the servicing of multiple client accounts, as well as providing clients with strategic advice. You would also be expected to contribute to your team members development - acting as sounding board and providing guidance.

You will also be responsible for proactively pursuing and driving new business initiatives - by expanding existing relationships as well as identifying new opportunities and converting these into sustainable clients.

**What You'll Do**
- Deliver to clients: provide strategic advice to a portfolio of clients, manage accounts on a day-to-day basis and develop excellent relationships with client groups. Independently own client relationships; creatively preparing and delivering the client programme.
- Build the business: seek out new business leads and work alongside other members of the team on business development activities such as pitch preparation and delivery.
- Team involvement: project line management for the team working on your clients and knowledge sharing and mentoring junior team members.
- Networking: proactively network with EU contacts and stakeholders as well as potential clients.

You will have the opportunity to work in some of the most challenging and fascinating public policy issues currently being tackled in Europe in TMT. You will have the opportunity to lead or take a leading role in a range of substantial client accounts and business development project, expanding your strategic acumen and commercial drive and skillset. As a senior member of the team, you will be able to further develop your ability to develop, motivate and support the growth of team members. You will be part of a dynamic and multinational team of experts based in Brussels and you will be able to work closely with other FTI offices and segments - expanding your personal insight and contacts within our global network, covering the full suite of business and management consulting professionals.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Strong academic background
- Director: At least 5 years' experience in a consultancy, in-house, trade body, public institution or advising clients on policy and communications issues.
- Senior Director: At least 8 years' experience in a consultancy, in-house, trade body, public institution or advising clients on policy and communications issues.
- Proven skills in public affairs, advocacy, issues and reputation management within TMT policy.
- Excellent understanding and experience of working with policymakers and stakeholders in Brussels and in national capitals to develop strategic objectives, and strong knowledge of the TMT sector regulation and policy discussions.
- Excellent English with one or two additional languages preferable.
