**For a company active in the insurance sector and located in Brussels, Hays is actively looking for a Business Controller NL/EN.**
As Business Controller, you are responsible for the control, analysis and reporting of financial data and KPIs. You monitor the portfolio, develop tracking tools and dashboards and you’re responsible for the monthly and quarterly closing & reporting. You report directly to the Finance Manager. In collaboration with the manager, you prepare, analyze and do the follow-up of the budgets and forecasts. You are in contact with internal and external auditors and work on ad-hoc queries and reporting. Optimization of the business and financial processes comes along with the role, and the company is always open for ways to improve itself.
**at least 3 years’ experience** in finance, ideally in
**external audit **followed by 1 or 2 years’ experience in controlling. Experience in the insurance sector is a strong plus. You speak fluent
**English and Dutch** and have a great communication skills. You can work autonomously and yet you’re a real team player. You have a strong expertise with Excel, and knowledge of BI tools (Power BI) is a plus.
