**THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As project manager for Data Solutions, you will report to the Odyssey program manager.Your mission will consist to coordinate 2-3 projects within the program and ensure that they are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- You will work with the project team and guide them through all phases of the project: initiation, planning, execution and closing. Your duties will typically include:
- Build a project charter
- Develop a detailed project plan
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Track changes in the project scope/schedule/costs
- Perform risk management to minimize risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Regularly report the project status and escalate to management as needed
- Regularly facilitate retrospectives
- Recommend best practices
**Education/Experience Required**
- Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of five (5) years of project management experience, especially in a technology-intensive or data-intensive environment.
- Experience working with a distributed multi-cultural team
- Experience leading others, without direct oversight (transverse management).
- Able to build relationships across two upper levels of management.
- Orientation towards work efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Highly organized, and attentive to detail.
- Good problem solving and analysis skills.
- Outstanding presentation, communication (oral & written) skills in English is required. Additional fluency in French is highly preferred. Fluency in Dutch/Flemish is a further plus.
- Industry certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM, ICAgile, Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP) are a plus.
**Pay Package and Benefits**

- Eligible for annual cash bonus depending on (1) funding of bonus pool by Moody’s Board of Directors and (2) personal performance and attainment of pre-agreed objectives.

The Data Solutions operating unit (OU) is the commercial data business of Moody’s Analytics. A large portion of Moody’s Analytics’ revenue comes from Data Solutions. We are comprised of more than 750 professionals who curate, manage, and provide data to over 7,000 customers worldwide. We are best known for our Orbis database, which is the world’s most comprehensive database of public and private companies. We are also the definitive source of ratings-related data for companies and securities that have been rated by Moody’s Investors Service. There are four market-facing groups within Data Solutions: Data Applications, Data Feeds, Media Solutions, and Contributory Data Solutions. In addition, we have various strategic and operational teams that specialize in curating and sourcing data and keeping all our databases accurate, relevant, and up to date. Any analytical activity depends on reliable and accessible data, and we are proud to be a mission-critical information resource for decision makers around the world.
- Our software development lifecycle is inspired by SAFe with an Agile Release Train. Teams are progressively transitioning to scrum.
- We recently initiated an ambitious program called Odyssey to deeply modernize the Data Applications activity. This program aims to increase our data quality, timeliness and interoperability.
