About the team

Now we are looking for a Software Development Manager to join our Integration Platform leadership and head up the Automation & Workflow team.

The team is responsible for our no-code integration platform supporting connections to over 500 APIs via a low-code workflow builder. The product contains:

- An integration backend supporting scheduled or event-driven integrations which are compiled and executed inside a docker container. It is built using the Laravel framework with the infrastructure running in AWS using services such as Kubernetes, Docker, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, Athena, and many more.
- The frontend has a complex drag-and-drop workflow builder, written in Vue.js.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
- Lead a team of developers focusing on delivering first-class services and UIs to our customers.
- Challenging and inspiring your team to deliver great software continuously following the principles of agile and DevOps development.
- Enabling the team by coaching, removing roadblocks, clarifying priorities, and working with relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborating with Software Development Managers within the Integration Group and the larger Cloud Native Platform organization to fulfill our visions and goals.
- Collaborating with Product Managers, Product Designers, and other stakeholders to prioritize backlogs and maintain your roadmap.
- Managing individual features through the prototyping, design, development, and delivery phases - including deployment to the cloud.
- Managing quality - attending to defects, production incidents, orchestrating automated testing, prioritizing technical debt and architectural spikes where appropriate.
- Understanding your team members’ strengths and providing opportunities for them to grow.
- Innovating within our software delivery process to compete vigorously with the very best software teams in the world.
- Leading feature teams across multiple geographies and time zones.

Competencies and skills:
The skills and qualifications required for this role:

- Experience in leading engineering teams delivering software solutions including all stages from analysis and design to deployment and maintenance.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in building and growing different types of teams.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in coaching junior and senior individuals into reaching their full potential.
- Experience in driving technical projects from analysis to deployment into production.

Experience & Qualifications

Desired experience with a successful track record in one or more of the following areas:

- Proven track record of leading engineering teams delivering successful SaaS solutions, including requirements analysis, design, peer review, prototyping, build and release, quality processes, automation, task estimation, security, availability, redundancy, instrumentation, maintenance, and support.
- Knowledge of agile continuous delivery - able to lead teams writing production-ready code that is deployed continuously with fully automated testing.
- Experience with containerization and deployment on Linux using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, is an asset.
- Experience in a DevOps setting to deliver services at high velocity.
- Experience working successfully across geographies and cultures.

Education

University Degree completion in a related field.
