Our offering includes a leading portfolio from our trusted brands: Raychem, Tracer, Nuheat and Pyrotenax. **WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION**: As a Proposal Specialist, you will support a range of industries including Renewables, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Power, Oil & Gas, and Data Centers. Your responsibilities will include estimating and preparing local proposals for electrical heat tracing systems and related services. You will also play a key role in supporting the sales team by contributing to the development and execution of sales strategies. **RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS POSITION**: RFQ Assessment - Analyze incoming Requests for Quotation (RFQs) from both technical and commercial perspectives. - Collaborate with the sales team to define and implement winning bid strategies. - Deep-dive into project specifications to identify constraints and opportunities. Cross-Functional Support - Proactively identify risks and challenges, and propose effective mitigation strategies. - Represent the proposals team in bid clarification sessions and project meetings. - Provide ongoing technical support and follow-up throughout the proposal lifecycle. Proposal Preparation - Develop detailed cost estimates and build comprehensive cost models. Seamless Handover - Support post-submission activities including clarifications, negotiations, and contract transitions. - Actively participate in handover meetings to ensure a smooth transition from proposal to project execution. **You have**: - Academic background in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering - Preferably a previous experience in a proposal/ tendering role or previous experience in an electrical site or estimating role (preferably within the Process industry) - Skills: - Quick learner. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - High level of accuracy and proficiency in processing data - Computer literate - proficient in a wide variety of MS Office programs (Word - Intermediate User, Excel - Intermediate User, Outlook - Intermediate User) - Languages: - Excellent Dutch language skills, both written and verbal - English language skills, both written and verbal. - Some knowledge of power distribution and/ or Heat Tracing Applications. - Previous experience of preparing the commercial bid analysis, working closely with engineering department in the completion of the bid analyst summary. - Be a self-starter / self-motivated, detail orientated and a good communicator (both written and oral) - Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands: - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. - The work will be in a typical office environment. - Some assignments may require occasional travelling for customer visits (
