MindCapture is a niche talent partner for companies in biotech, life sciences & healthcare. Our partner is an innovative medtech start-up specialized in surgical imaging technologies. It is a growing and dynamic company with high traction from international innovators.

In order to support their growth, we are looking for a business developer to follow up on all leads and help them spread the word and build relationships based on all the possibilities of their imaging technologies.

Join our dynamic team as a Business Developer and play a pivotal role in building a strong customer base and expanding our market reach. As part of your responsibilities, you will:

- Spread the mission and vision
- Find, contact, develop and onboard leading healthcare institutions in a structured approach
- Identify and pursue promising leads, educate potential customers, and successfully close deals.
- Attend international conferences to meet customers and generate valuable leads for business growth.
- Ensure timely and thorough follow-up of leads and opportunities while maintaining an updated CRM system.
- Regularly visit our international customers to foster strong relationships and understand their evolving needs.
- Collaborate closely with our Clinical and Engineering teams to gain in-depth insights into customer requirements.
- Contribute to the development of effective marketing campaigns aimed at generating qualified leads.

REQUIRED COMPETENCES & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, preferably in business development or sales
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Strong presentation and contract negotiation abilities
- Affinity with innovative technology
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing). Dutch, German or French is a strong plus.
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and well-organised
- Can-do and hands-on mindset
- Curious and eager to learn
- Commercially savvy and driven to succeed
- Thrive on challenges and result-oriented
- Willingness and desire to travel
- Trustworthy team player
- Experience in a sales role in healthcare, preferably in the surgical oncology field
- Knowledge or experience in the structure of a hospital is a plus
