**Role**:**Purpose of the position**

In their mission and vision the interaction with and experience of the customer is central. Liantis wants to further strengthen its position as the reference for supporting entrepreneurs from A to Z by means of top service, good and appropriate solutions. Digital solutions and the delivery of information to the customer at the right time form the basis of this strategy.

A few years ago, the IT organization of Liantis already started a sophisticated program to realize this ambition. This included components such as technological innovation, agile way of working, a strong focus on quality, strengthening internal competencies, etc. Today the IT organization of Liantis no longer has a supporting role, but has evolved into a business partner for the various divisions and customers. The entire IT organization has about 250 employees.

You will be part of the IT leadership team of Liantis. This together with the Release Train Engineers (total of 4 people), Enterprise Architect and the CIO.
**Responsibilities and result areas**
- Plan the support of the information systems of all domains and the group. You translate the medium and long term business and technological evolution into a concrete roadmap for IT infrastructure.
You are responsible for creating and maintaining a multi-year infrastructure planning. You make this planning based on the needs and priorities of the business and in line with the IT strategy.
- You follow up on technological innovations and evolutions and you advise the IT management.
- You support the CIO and the IT management team in drawing up annual plans and budgets.
- Building, implementing and maintaining information systems. You are responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the information systems for the department in terms of annual planning, budget, resource planning and selection. All this with a view to making strategically informed long-term decisions.
- You manage and follow up the annual planning, budget, resource planning and selection.
- You are responsible for coordinating, organizing and evaluating the project and change activities in the department according to the resources, dependencies and priorities.
You ensure communication between the needs of the business and the various activities in the department according to resources and priorities.
- You develop the needs of the business into concrete policy and/or project proposals that optimize quality and performance.
- You are responsible for the operational management of the domain in order to realize a qualitative monitoring and optimization of all infrastructures (telephony, clients, servers, networks, backup, security).
- You will manage the processes in the department regarding the planning, follow-up and evaluation of projects, releases and incidents.
- Supporting the operational needs of the business with existing information systems. You are responsible for coordinating, organizing and evaluating incident management and support.
- You proactively monitor the infrastructure with the aim of achieving the infrastructure objectives.
- You are responsible for the daily stability, availability and performance, also with regard to security, of the systems. This way you can offer an answer to the concerns of the IT management with regard to the infrastructure.
- You manage the central service management with user support and first line support for all IT problems. You provide SLAs and follow them up.
- Facilitate the IT organization: You facilitate the organization and cooperation to achieve optimal motivation, commitment and challenge in each employee and to optimize the competencies, skills and know-how.
- You are responsible for leading, coaching, guiding and developing the teams/employees. You have final responsibility for 60 employees.
- You give substance to the training policy and you develop your employees so that they can optimally develop their competencies, skills and know-how in the long term.
- You are responsible for the optimal organization of the workplace in terms of efficiency and effectiveness. You ensure a good flow of policy decisions within the team.
