**Position: Senior Scientist Discovery Chemistry**

**Location: Beerse campus, near Antwerp, Belgium**

Our medicinal chemistry group is dedicated to the development of small molecule modalities, including peptide and protein degraders, as innovative therapeutics to combat diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, immunological disorders, and cancer.
- ** What we are looking for**:

- An enthusiastic PhD-level chemist (M/F) who is eager to contribute to our groundbreaking research and make a difference in the world of healthcare.

**Principal Responsibilities**:

- Plan and conduct experiments independently in the laboratory.
- Collaborate in a team-driven environment with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Contribute to the ideation of novel compounds.
- Record all experimental data thoroughly and share scientific findings internally and externally.
- Stay updated on and integrate new scientific developments within the team and projects.

**Qualifications**

**Education**:

- A PhD in synthetic organic or medicinal chemistry with 0-3 years of related post-degree experience, or an MSc degree with 5 years of relevant experience is required.
