The department of Chemical Process Research & Development (CPRD) focuses on the development of synthetic methodologies and processes for small molecules, oligonucleotides, peptides and other emerging modalities. We currently **have an open position**in the CPRD High Throughput Experimentation group **for a passionate Sr./Pri. Scientist in the field of AI/ML and Cheminformatics.**

**Job description**

As a Sr. Scientist you will develop and leverage data science, machine learning, and deep learning to accelerate molecular design and reaction optimization, integrating high-throughput experimentation data with predictive modeling to enhance decision-making in R&D and enabling design of ground-breaking synthesis routes for small molecule synthetics and related modalities.

**Experience and skills**
- Demonstrated experience with cheminformatic workflows, and familiarity with descriptors and machine learning (ML) in the context of cheminformatics.
- Ability to develop internal and external network of contacts and collaborators across functions, sites, and scientific disciplines.
- Proven track record of scientific excellence and successful research supported by peer-reviewed publications.
- Excellent scientific communication, including the ability to present complex data science concepts in digestible terms to diverse scientific audiences while leveraging innovative data visualization.
