Description**
As an accountant, you are responsible for a number of companies assigned to you. Your responsibilities for these companies consist mainly of:
- Ensure the daily accounting treatments
- Take charge of the monthly and annual closings
- Justify the balance of the balance sheet and income statement accounts for the auditors' control
- Ensure the accounting consistency of the whole entity for which you are responsible
- Follow up on the allocation by and the exchange of information with transversal services such as accounts payable, invoicing, administrative and financial management of buildings, etc.
- Prepare the annual accounts and their deposit with the National Bank of Belgium
- Issue the VAT declarations
- Completing tax annexes for income tax declarations
- Provide assistance during tax audits (Isoc, vat,...)
- Establish tax forms
- Establish an exchange of information with other departments such as project managers, legal department, human resources, controlling department, consolidation team, team responsible for the administrative and financial management of buildings
**Profile**
- At least a bachelor's degree in accounting
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position in a company or a fiduciary
- Good communication skills (contacts with internal departments)
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch - French
- Knowledge of SAP accounting software is an asset
- Thorough knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work in a team
- Autonomous, rigorous and analytical
- Good organizer to meet reporting deadlines for monthly and annual closings
