**Solution Advisor Security**

Fulltime, location: Brussels (hybrid)

As Solution Security you will be part of the Multivendor Security Team. The team focusses on a set of key vendors which represents the main security platform players, complemented with a limited set of complimentary vendors. This covers the most relevant IT-Security layers in the market. You will get the opportunity to work with customer sizes from small to high-end Enterprise within all verticals. In cooperation with the team you have the opportunity to support and build the security (services) business. We are part of the MultiVendor Business Unit which exists of 4 different Sales Teams, all with their own Vendor and Theme related Portfolio. All Themes and represented Vendors represent high-end technology solutions and Technology Market Leaders.

The role:
Sales:

- Co-owns sales activities for Security Solutions at a customer level, in collaboration with customer account managers
- Performance and success measured by GP performance of region, aligned to quarterly compensation plan
- Analyse & gather business requirement from large & complexity client environments and perform required research and investigation to identify and create thorough, accurate technical solution proposals that meet required business outcomes
- Covering our strategic renewal business with our customers. Face to face advice to optimize, manage and maintain their current contracts
- Analyze customer historical data in order to upsell and gain new sales opportunities
- Contributing to the correct and adequate administration of opportunities in ONEsales
- Responsible for partnering with account managers and local sales leadership to drive new business opportunities within the existing regional account base as well as supporting customer acquisition activities as assigned

General Business Development, Marketing, & Partnerships:

- Assist and own partnership/alliance functions to assigned partner relationships. This may include being primary contact for Partner/Channel Account Managers and assisting in GTM and business planning as well as driving forward programmatic initiatives
- Act as a technical evangelist for marketing activities including engagements at conferences, conventions, user groups, webinars, etc.
- Partner with stakeholders and drive solution marketing activities by preparing and delivering content and messaging

What we need to see from you:
Your **professional experience in selling outcome-based software solutions** and your **passion about Security Solutions **is important to us, regardless of whether you have completed a university degree or have completed an apprenticeship.

To be successful in this role you must have a **highly motivated and growth-oriented mindset with a results oriented, confident, and entrepreneurial spirit.** You have strong verbal and written **communication skills in English and Dutch** as well as strong business acumen.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

- Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
- Solid problem solving and consultative skills required
- Ability to independently conduct meetings with engineering-level, management-level or executive level customer personnel regarding positioning sales and solutions
- Maintain and acquire sales and technical certifications in assigned area and maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Maintain and report on regional sales pipeline, and project status
- Proficient knowledge in SoftwareONE services, solutions, and products
- Flexible travel required
