Publicatiedatum: 13 augustus 2024 - Brussels - Contract open-end As the Data Platform Owner, you play a crucial role in our company's transformation. You will lead the development, management, and continuous improvement of Luminus's Data Platform, driving the shift towards a "data product" architecture and advanced platform capabilities. Using Agile software delivery with scrum and key elements of SAFe, you work in quarterly cycles (PIs) to ensure transparency and stability in deliverables. Your responsibilities include translating company and departmental goals into a clear product vision and roadmap, managing the product backlog, and prioritizing initiatives based on their value. As the primary liaison with end-users, business owners, and stakeholders, you collaborate within the Data & Analytics (DNA) Release Train and across our Agile ecosystem to drive impactful changes and innovation. **Your daily job** - Platform/Platformization Strategy and Roadmap: You define and communicate the strategic vision and roadmap for the Data Platform, aligning it with business goals. You translate this vision into actionable deliverables and a backlog for your scrum teams. You manage and prioritize the Product Backlog, promoting agile delivery best practices. - Stakeholder Management: You collaborate with business Product Owners (POs), the Data Governance team, data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to translate requirements into platform capabilities. - Platform Development: You oversee the design, development, and deployment of the platform, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and reliable. - Enablement and Use Case Team Support: You support and enable use case teams in implementing data-driven solutions. Acting as a liaison between the centralized Data Platform and Platformization teams and the use case teams, you facilitate communication and manage expectations. You understand the scope of upcoming enabler work and collaborate with Solution Architects for decision-making. - Drive Evolution Towards a "Data Product" Approach: You enhance data quality and management capabilities across use case teams in alignment with Data Governance policies and processes. - Performance Monitoring: You monitor platform performance and implement necessary enhancements. - Cost Control: You manage and control costs associated with the development and maintenance of the data platform, ensuring budget adherence and cost efficiency. - Ensure SLAs Compliance and Incident Management: You ensure SLAs are met and manage an incident management process to promptly address and resolve any platform issues. - Support Sourcing Strategy and Operating Model Evolution: You support the sourcing strategy and evolution of the operating model. - Training and Support: You provide training and support to users, ensuring they effectively utilize the platform. - Innovation: You stay updated with industry trends and new technologies to ensure the platform remains modern and competitive. **Your profile** - You have a university degree with at least some IT coverage or have gained equivalent knowledge through relevant work experience. - You have relevant experience in IT delivery - You have at least 2 years in a leading role. - You have relevant experience with Data & Analytics solutions in a self-service context and product management. - You possess technical proficiency (data and cloud) and leadership skills to lead and motivate a technical team. - You think strategically and can align the data platform with business goals and drive strategic initiatives. - You have strong communication skills to clearly communicate the product vision to all stakeholders. - You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges. - You have excellent collaboration skills to foster teamwork and work effectively with various stakeholders. - You are experienced in Agile delivery (Scrum & SAFe). - You have an affinity with Data Governance principles. - Having Product Owner and/or Scrum Master experience is a strong plus. - You master business English and at least conversational Dutch or French.
