IT Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst for Manufacturing, you are the key IT Subject Matter Expert in our **Manufacturing Execution System (MES) **with a focus in Production and Maintenance. You are the IT point-of-contact for the business in Solution and Service Delivery focusing first on two pilot plants in EU and NA and strategically scaling to all plants in Carmeuse.
This role is critical in gathering requirements, configuring, testing, installing and maintaining the MES solution. Strong technical knowledge and experience in development, configuration and deployments of MES are essential.

**Your Responsibilities**:
**Product Ownership**
- Primary point-of-contact between Plant Operations and IT
- Liaison with the business to prioritize requirements that outline the minimum marketable feature, measurable benefit to the business, and definition of done.
- Work with the vendor and business users to build a product roadmap that outlines the vision and direction of the MES product
- Keep up with the latest trends in manufacturing processes and plant automation
- Conduct user forums to share information on best practices, learn user pain points, improve skills, advance general knowledge on MES domain

**Solution Development**
- Collaborate with the business to gather requirements, map the value chain and document the proposed future state
- Perform gap-fit and impact analysis across sites to derive a global view on business process and IT support
- Efficiently design solutions to solve business problems and requirements
- Assist Site Acceptance Testing and User Training

**Service Delivery**
- Provide Tier III support to the plants to configure, troubleshoot and fix production issues onsite or remote
- Coordinate resolution of production support issues with vendor, IT and OT teams. Provide timely update to MES users, stakeholders, and management.
- Coordinate deployment of solutions developed by IT and the vendor to the plants
- Identify opportunities to convert and replace legacy work flows and manual data collection
- Create job aid documentation (user guides, training materials) and checklists to assist users in navigating around MES

**Your Profile**:

- Bachelor's Degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Successful Manufacturing Execution and Shopfloor Systems experience (SCADA, MES, MOM, IoT, EAM) and integration with industrial control systems
- 5+ years of experience for companies in the manufacturing industry (Heavy Industry preferred)
- Fluent in English, French

**Knowledge**
- Understanding of key production processes: Production Scheduling, Product Routing, BOM / Recipe Management, Production Execution, Raw Material Consumption, Quality Management, Production Report Management, etc.
- Understanding of key maintenance processes: Preventive, Corrective (planned vs unpanned), Predictive, Calibration, Capital Management
- Infor MES or Lighthouse MES or Lighthouse Shopfloor Online preferred

**Skills**
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams and able to communicate to various audiences
- Able to design solutions and the impacts of digitalization and emerging technologies in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in O365, SQL
- Familiarity with industry standards, such as ANSI/ISA-95, ITIL
