Description
VRT is seeking a Business Intelligence expert to strengthen the Data & Intelligence team at VRT.
You are familiar with a data environment and working with and querying large volumes of data. You are an experienced Power BI developer, driven by data analysis and data visualization. You excel in designing, developing, and implementing dashboards that are clear and easily interpretable.
As a public broadcaster, we respond to constant changes and growth within the media landscape. Data insights enable us to better understand our audience and support decision-making and policies within VRT.
As a BI expert, you are part of the Data & Intelligence team. You closely collaborate with data analysts and analytics engineers in the team, as well as with all VRT teams in need of data insights and support in data visualization.
Expectations
In your role as a BI expert, you support VRT in its data-driven operations. You develop and maintain reports and dashboards. You collect and aggregate data into optimal datasets for reports and analyses. You contribute to an extensive self-service environment. You closely work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
Your Profile
You have at least 2 years of experience as a BI Expert You have an in-depth knowledge of SQL Advanced knowledge of reporting and translating data into insights Experience working with Business Intelligence tools, preferably Power BI Identifying quality issues and providing feedback to respective owners Experience translating business requirements into data requirements You are a good communicator You are an experienced data storyteller, proficient in sharing quantitative insights using clear graphs You share your knowledge and enjoy coaching others in creating queries Strong analytical skills and attention to detail You have initiative and are particularly enterprising You are a thorough yet pragmatic team player Good knowledge of Dutch Knowledge of Scrum and DevOps is a plus.
