We are looking for an **Application Architect** for a full-time, long-term project of one of the development departments of the European Union.
**Qualifications**
- Excellent knowledge of Git concepts (branching, versioning, merging etc.)
- Proven experience with the process of versioning configuration changes (code level)
- Excellent knowledge of pipeline tools such as GitLab, Bamboo, Jenkins
- Good knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture
- In-depth knowledge of modeling tools
- Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture
- Good knowledge of Relational DBMS
- Good knowledge of business process analysis
- Knowledge of interoperability technology (e.g. web services)
- Ability to give technical presentations
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Justice, Consumers, Migration and Home Affairs EU policy objectives would be a plus
- Excellent Team Player
- Knowledge of Justice, Consumers, Migration and Home Affairs related public IT systems
- Previous experience in legal organizations or departments would be a plus
- Experience with cloud-based hosting solutions would be a plus
**Specific expertise**:
- Excellent knowledge of dependency management frameworks (MAVEN, GRADLE)
- Excellent knowledge of integration testing best practices.
- Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and cloud native architectures.
- Good knowledge of distributed or microservice architectures and complex event processing.
