At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for an Applications Cloud Architect to join our UniQue Brussels team

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.

**What will you be bringing to the team?**

Our UniQue people come from a variety of different backgrounds and industries, with different skillsets and approaches, but they have one thing in common: passion for technology and innovation For the Application Cloud Architect position we expect you to:

- Elaborate functional and non-functional requirements, drafting of analysis deliverables, UML modelling
- Design wireframes and mock-ups (or other visual prototyping) which lead to intuitive user experience and translation of business concepts into system interface
- Be responsible for the specifications and design of user interfaces and navigation maps
- Provide expert advice and assistance, technology watch, architectural considerations, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices with Java Enterprise & front-end technologies, enterprise & web content management, XML, interoperability, multi-device development etc.

**Requirements**:
**What do you need to succeed in this position?**
- BSc degree and 7 years of relevant professional experience in IT
- Good experience with Java EE 7 or higher;
- Experience with Java tools and frameworks: Spring data 1.13.x, Spring 4.x, Spring Security 4.x, Hibernate 5.x, IntelliJ or Eclipse;
- Experience with Web services (SOAP, REST);
- Good experience with Oracle RDBMS 12.x;
- Continuous integration and build environment: Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Bamboo, Fisheye, Crucible, SourceTree, Git or SVN, JUnit or similar.
- Deep knowledge in the domain of Java Enterprise technology;
- Capability to write clear and structured technical documents;
- Knowledge of interoperability technology (e.g. web services, service bus, etc.);
- A good level of proficiency in the English language

Expertise in the following domains would be an asset for you:

- Front-end frameworks: Angular 4, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, TypeScript or similar.
- Service Oriented Architecture (SOA);
- XML, XSLT, XPath, etc.;
- Java Message Service (Queues and Topics).
