Our client is one of the largest insurance companies in Belgium and looking for 2 financial administrators in the collections department. Your responsibilities will include carefully managing financial transactions and processes, collecting outstanding payments, and safeguarding financial interests. They expect at least a Bachelor's degree in Finance or similar, with at least 3 years of experience in a financial role, strong communication skills in both Dutch and French, and willingness to travel to the Brussels offices on a monthly basis. **Description**
- You will be responsible for accurately managing accounting and financial transactions/documents and processes and ensuring efficient collection of outstanding payments
- This position involves regular peak periods within which strict time limits must be met. The Financial Administrator tracks crucial tasks on a monthly and quarterly basis
- You manage accounts receivable and actively pursue outstanding payments
- You analyze financial data
- You provide support to colleagues and participate in various projects
- You are alert to the risks inherent in business activities and are empowered to make decisions in complex files.
**Profile**
- You have at least a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Economics or a similar field of study
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar financial role, preferably with an emphasis on debtor management
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and French (both telephone and written)
- Excellent knowledge of financial systems and software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- You are customer oriented and a team player
- Efficiency is central to the approach of the Financial Administrator. Both in individual and team work, you are goal-oriented and ensure effective planning and execution of your tasks. The ability to analyze complex situations and act proactively is at the core of this role
- You are willing to travel to the Brussels offices once a month.
