Description
CORE is a sublabel of Tomorrowland Music, a dedicated music division within Tomorrowland, collaborating closely with both artists and labels, supporting them in all their recording and release activities. CORE label is a new part of a broader CORE brand, also including the CORE Festival in Brussels, the CORE stages at Tomorrowland Belgium and Winter, and the CORE radio show on One World Radio. Wielding a wide array of various genres and niches, breaking the boundaries between Indie, Hip Hop, Electronica, and alternative dance.

We want to expand our team with an experienced A&R Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- As A&R Manager you will help defining and implementing the music and creative strategy of the CORE label and will be responsible for the discovery, signing and development of new artists and releases.
- You will work closely with the colleagues responsible for CORE festival, CORE events and CORE radio show to align the different activities under the CORE umbrella.
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with artists, managements and other music industry players
- You will work closely with the head of Tomorrowland Music and the legal and finance department to close deals with new talent
- You will work closely with the artist teams and our distribution partners to finalize and upload all music and release assets for release
- You will assist the artist teams and Tomorrowland Music’s creative and marketing teams in determining the creative direction for release plans and marketing assets

Must Have Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the music/entertainment industry, with proven history of working with artists in the international independent and/or electronic music scene
- Strong existing network in the international music industry and artist community
- Perfect understanding of the current trends in the music industry, the music media, streaming services and broader digital and social media landscape.
- Good analytical skills and familiarity with release data tools such as Chartmetric and Spotontrack.
- Strong negotiation skills and good understanding of the basics of recording contracts and the economics of the recorded music business
- Creative mind that thinks out of the box and sees opportunities rather than problems in every situation
- Strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
