**Project**
The projects followed by Equaly share a common denominator, which is the development of new therapeutic tools from an innate, but specific T cell population, the natural killer T (NKT) cells. Our projects focus on the improvement of therapeutic proteins/biologicals by removing their immunogenicity, and the development of novel vaccination methods activating specific NKT cells for treating infectious diseases and cancers.

**Job function**
The job lies at the crossing of different disciplines alluded to above, implying sufficient knowledge in several of such fields. As a scientist, you are able to independently design experiments, plan and organize daily work of technicians/research assistants, provide them technical guidance and experimental assistance when required, analyze data, prepare reports and present results in scientific discussions and meetings. As part of a startup biotech, you are able to implement and develop new techniques, identify new collaborations and adapt to new orientations.

**Your qualifications**
PhD in immunology, biotechnology or biomedical science. Passionate about science and research, enthusiast, detail-oriented, patient and reliable, with a strong team spirit. An acquired postdoc level experience in an academic or biotech/pharma R&D department is preferable. You should be fluent in English and preferably certified or prepared for laboratory animal handling.
